Khartoum, April 18, 2026 (SUNA) – Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris met on Saturday with a number of journalists in Khartoum. Delegation member Dr. Khalid Al-Tijani said the Prime Minister briefed attendees on key government priorities for the coming period, foremost among them peace as the foundation for security and stability. He also highlighted plans to launch strategic projects, led by the “Sudan Marshall Plan” for post-war reconstruction, alongside efforts to boost investment and leverage the country’s geographic and economic potential. Al-Tijani added that the meeting addressed a range of national issues, noting the Prime Minister’s clear and direct responses to questions. Discussions also touched on ongoing efforts to restore normal conditions and the expected role of media and society in the next phase.
