Khartoum, 6 August 2026 (SUNA) – Prime Minister Professor Kamil Idris issued two decisions on Thursday relieving Bashir Haroun Abdelkarim Abdullah from his position as Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments and Omar Mustafa Ali from his duties as Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Hajj and Umrah. The decisions instructed the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, and other relevant authorities to take the necessary measures to implement the directives.BH/BH
