Amman, Sept. 28 (Petra) – HRH Princess Ayah bint Faisal, President of the Jordan Volleyball Federation and a member of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) Board of Administration, took part Sunday in the federation’s board meeting held in Manila, coinciding with the Philippine capital’s hosting of the Men’s World Championship.
In a post on her official social media page, Princess Ayah expressed her delight at attending the meeting and her pride in the historic decision to award Qatar the hosting rights for the 2029 Men’s World Championship, making it the first Arab country to stage the global event.
The meeting also saw the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Arab Volleyball Federation and the FIVB aimed at developing the sport in the Arab region and securing the FIVB’s official recognition of the Arab Volleyball Federation.
