Amman, August 26 (Petra) Director of Public Security Major General Obeidallah Maaytah met on Tuesday with the Australian Ambassador to Jordan, Bernard Lynch, in Amman.
Maaytah and Lynch discussed avenues for enhancing security and police cooperation, focusing on developing a strategic framework for collaboration through the exchange of expertise and best practices.
The discussions aimed at strengthening efforts to maintain and promote comprehensive security.
Maaytah praised the ties between the Public Security Directorate (PSD) and its Australian peer, commending the ongoing cooperation and its continued progress through specialised programmes and initiatives that bolster security and technical capabilities.
Lynch, in turn, lauded the PSD’s efforts and advanced practices in reinforcing Jordan’s security system. He affirmed Australia’s commitment to deepening cooperation with Jordan.
