Amman, Aug 13 (Petra) – Qatar strongly condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statements on the so-called “Greater Israel vision,” describing them as an extension of Israel’s arrogance, escalation of crises and conflicts, and blatant violations of state sovereignty, international law, the UN Charter, and UN resolutions.
In a statement published on its official website on Wednesday, the Qatari Foreign Ministry said the false Israeli claims and provocative statements would not diminish the legitimate rights of Arab states and peoples. It stressed the need for international solidarity to confront these provocations, which increase violence and chaos in the region.
The ministry reaffirmed Qatar’s full support for all efforts aimed at achieving a just, comprehensive and lasting peace in the region and at strengthening regional and international security and stability.
