Doha, March 01 (QNA) – The State of Qatar has extended remote working arrangements for employees across government institutions for another day.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers said that remote working would continue on Monday for all staff in ministries, other government bodies, and public authorities and institutions.
The decision follows a previous announcement by the Secretariat regarding the implementation of remote work measures. The extension does not apply to employees in the military and security sectors, the health sector, or those whose duties require their physical presence at the workplace.
The General Secretariat also urged citizens and residents to obtain information from official sources and to follow safety and security guidance issued by the competent authorities in the country. (QNA)
