Cairo, April 02 (QNA) – The State of Qatar participated in the extraordinary session of the Arab League Council at the level of Permanent Representatives, held today at the League’s headquarters in Cairo.
The session addressed Israeli crimes and violations in occupied Jerusalem and its Islamic and Christian sanctums, as well as the Israeli Knesset’s endorsement of a law allowing the execution of Palestinian prisoners.
The State of Qatar’s delegation was headed by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Thani.
The session was convened at the request of the State of Palestine to explore avenues for confronting Israeli crimes and abuses in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression against its people. (QNA)
