Riyadh, September 01 (QNA) – The committee tasked with activating the cooperation agreement in civil defense between the governments of the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia held its first meeting in Riyadh, as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation and coordination in civil defense.
The Qatari delegation was headed by Director General of Civil Defense Maj. Gen. Hamad Othman Al Duhaimi, while the Saudi delegation was headed by Director General of Civil Defense Maj. Gen. Dr. Hamoud bin Sulaiman Al Faraj.
The meeting discussed the items on its agenda and adopted relevant recommendations aimed at enhancing readiness and operational efficiency, promoting the exchange of expertise, and developing emergency response mechanisms. (QNA)
