Doha, March 04 (QNA) – The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index rose 36.52 points, or 0.35%, at the start of trading on Wednesday, reaching 10,546 points compared with the previous session’s close.
Market data showed gains across most sectors, led by Insurance (+3.16%), Consumer Goods and Services (+1.23%), Real Estate (+1.14%), Telecoms (+0.89%), Transportation (+0.52%), and Banks and Financial Services (+0.37%). The Industrials sector was the only decliner, falling 0.37%.
By 10:00 am, turnover reached QR 77.224 million, with 42.197 million shares changing hands across 4,619 transactions. (QNA)
