Doha, August 25 (QNA) – The State of Qatar strongly condemned Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz’s illegal entry into Syrian territory and transgression of international borders as a violation of the sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic and its territorial integrity.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement today, called on the international community to move swiftly to compel the Israeli occupation to adhere to international legitimacy resolutions, particularly the ceasefire agreement signed in 1974, and to end its repeated aggression on Syrian territories, to prevent escalation and tension in the region.
The Ministry renewed the State of Qatar’s full support for the sovereignty and independence of Syria and the safety of its land.
The Ministry also stressed the State of Qatar’s support for the Syrian people in establishing their security, stability, and prosperity. (QNA)
