Doha, July 28 (QNA) – The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the fresh attacks on the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan as a flagrant violation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity and a blatant breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the continuation of these assaults amounts to a dangerous escalation that would complicate ongoing de-escalation efforts and undermine political and diplomatic endeavors aimed at achieving security and stability in the region.

The Ministry stressed the importance of immediately and thoroughly ceasing all military actions and attacks that imperil the security and stability of the region, refraining from all actions that would expand the cycle of escalation, seriously returning to the path of dialogue and negotiations, as well as adhering to the understandings that have been achieved through diplomatic efforts.

In addition, the Ministry reiterated that the State of Qatar fully stands by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and supports it in all measures it takes to protect its sovereignty and security. (QNA)
