Doha, August 17 (QNA) – Qatar’s U-18 basketball team will face Sri Lanka Tuesday in the third and final round of Group C at the FIBA U-18 Asia Cup in India, which runs until August 23.
Qatar, currently third in the group with two points, is seeking its first win to keep its hopes of reaching the knockout stage alive. The top team in each group advances directly to the quarterfinals, while the second- and third-placed teams play qualification matches.
The tournament also serves as a qualifier for the 2027 FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup in Pardubice, Czechia. The four semifinalists will secure qualification. (QNA)
