Doha, March 05 (QNA) – Baladna, a Qatari public shareholding company, has announced to shareholders and investors that its board of directors has decided to postpone the planned capital increase through a rights issue until further notice.
In a statement posted on the Qatar Stock Exchange website on Thursday, the company said the strategic decision was made in light of current market developments and financial volatility. The board noted that proceeding with the rights issue under present conditions would not be in the best interests of the company or its shareholders.
The board affirmed its continued commitment to the company’s growth strategy and said it would closely monitor economic conditions and market trends.
The timing of the capital increase will be reassessed once market conditions stabilize, with any new schedule announced in accordance with regulatory requirements. (QNA)
