QSE Index Declines Marginally at Beginning of Thursday’s Trading

Doha, April 16 (QNA) –  Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index slipped marginally at the beginning of Thursday’s trading, down 0.07%, losing 8.05  points to reach 10725  points, compared to the previous session’s close.

QSE figures showed positive performance for Transportation (+0.50%), Telecoms by (+0.20%), and Banks and Financial Services (+0.14%). On the other hand, there was a decline in

Real Estate by (-0.16%), Insurance by (-0.32%), Consumer Goods and Services (-0.42%), and Industrials (0.58%).

As of 10:00 am, QSE recorded 5043 transactions worth QR 98.409 million, distributed over 40.054 million shares. (QNA)
