Doha, August 03 (QNA) – The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index edged higher 0.04% at the start of trading on Monday, adding 3.73 points to reach 10,054 compared to the previous session’s close.
Market data showed gains in Telecoms (+1.00%), Transportation (+0.29%), Industrials (+0.04%), and Real Estate (+0.03%), while losses were seen in Banks and Financial Services (-0.25%) and Insurance (-0.09%). The Consumer Goods and Services sector was unchanged.
By 10:00 am, turnover stood at QR 62.941 million, with 41.171 million shares traded in 4,572 transactions, according to QSE data. (QNA)
