Doha, February 23 (QNA) – The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened higher on Monday, rising 0.21 percent, or 23.38 points, to reach 11184 points, compared with the previous session’s close.
Market data showed gains across three sectors: Transportation (+0.82 percent), Telecoms (+0.62 percent), and Banks and Financial Services (+0.22 percent). Meanwhile, the performance was negative for Real Estate by (-0.11 percent), Industrials (-0.12 percent), Insurance (-0.20 percent), and Consumer Goods and Services (-0.20 percent).
By 10:00 am, trading turnover reached QAR 47.221 million, with 20.998 million shares traded in 3,840 transactions. (QNA)
