Doha, August 17 (QNA) – Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index decreased by 55.93 points, or 0.56%, at the start of Monday’s trading, reaching 9989 points, under pressure from most sectors.
The market data showed declines in Consumer Goods and Services (-0.85%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.72%), Industrials (-0.52%) Transportation (-0.35%), Real Estate (-0.30%), and Telecoms (-0.25%). Meanwhile, performance was positive for Insurance (+0.29%).
By 10:00 am, turnover stood at QR 73.770 million, with 34.991 million shares traded in 4782 transactions, according to QSE data. (QNA)
