Amman, Sep. 25 (Petra) – Minister of Culture Mustafa Rawashdeh and Omani Minister of Information Dr. Abdullah Al-Harrasi on Thursday discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cultural relations.
During a meeting held at the Royal Cultural Center ahead of opening the 24th Amman International Book Fair, the two ministers praised the two brotherly countries’ cultural ties, discussing steps to hold joint cultural weeks.
Talking at the meeting, Rawashdeh briefed the Omani minister on the ministry’s projects and programs, including arts training centers in the Kingdom’s governorates and their activities, events, and courses.
Visiting the National Library of Jordan (NLJ), the duo toured its facilities and were briefed by its Director-General on its roles, functions, and tasks.
