Kyiv, May 21 (QNA) – Russia and Ukraine exchanged announcements Thursday regarding the downing of drones, as the conflict between the two countries continues, having been ongoing since Feb. 24, 2022.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that its air defense units shot down 109 Russian drones out of a total of 116 launched across the northern, southern and eastern regions of the country.
Meanwhile, Russian forces stated that the country’s air defense systems destroyed 121 Ukrainian drones overnight over several Russian regions.
Since Feb. 24, 2022, Russia and Ukraine have been exchanging, almost daily, reports claiming that each side has advanced or repelled attacks from the other, without verifying this data from an independent source, given the ongoing battle conditions. (QNA)
