Moscow, July 8 (Petra) – The Russian presidency (Kremlin) expressed appreciation on Tuesday for American efforts aimed at achieving a peaceful resolution to the conflict with Ukraine. It affirmed Russia’s intent to restore momentum in bilateral relations and open prospects for political and economic dialogue between the two sides.
During a press conference, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, “The current U.S. sanctions on Russia harm both the Russian and American economies. There is a need for the U.S. administration to reconsider this policy and continue direct dialogue that serves the interests of both peoples, as well as regional security and stability.”
