Moscow, March 16 (Petra) — Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov affirmed on Monday that Russia is prepared to provide support as a mediator in the current Iranian crisis to facilitate a return to diplomatic dialogue among all parties if needed.
Lavrov told a press conference, “Russia’s readiness to mediate to halt the war in the Middle East reflects our commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region, as we possess the capabilities to support an effective political process,” stressing Moscow’s willingness to offer all available forms of assistance to help resolve the conflict involving Iran.
