Moscow, July 15 (Petra) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Tuesday that Moscow has requested clarification regarding U.S. President Donald Trump’s statement giving Russia a 50-day deadline to reach a ceasefire and peace deal with Ukraine or face new economic sanctions.
Speaking at a press conference, Lavrov said, “Moscow wants to understand the motives behind President Donald Trump’s remarks yesterday about the 50-day timeframe to resolve the Ukrainian crisis and reach a diplomatic solution to the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine.”
