Moscow, Aug. 18 (Petra) — The Russian Ministry of Emergency
Situations announced Tuesday that eight people were killed and 43
others sustained varying injuries in Ukrainian drone attacks
targeting the western city of Belgorod over the past 48 hours.
In a statement, the ministry said the strikes also caused material
damage across several sites, adding that emergency crews continue to
manage the aftermath and the injured have been hospitalized for
treatment.
