Khartoum, April 2, 2026 (SUNA) – The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has issued a decree referring General Mohamed Othman Al-Hussein to retirement, effective April 2, 2026. The decree also relieves General Mohamed Othman Al-Hussein of his duties as Chief of the SAF General Staff.BH/BH
