The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) announced that the 4th Infantry Division — Blue Nile Lions — together with supporting forces, cleared the Karan Karan and Dokan areas in the Blue Nile region, inflicting heavy losses in personnel and equipment on the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia. The army said the operation forms part of ongoing military activities by the 4th Infantry Division and its units to clear all areas affected by the rebellion and strengthen security and stability across the region.BH/BH
