Amman, Aug 13 (Petra) – Saudi Arabia strongly condemned remarks by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on what he called the “Greater Israel vision,” rejecting in full the settlement and expansionist projects pursued by Israeli authorities. The kingdom reaffirmed the historic and legal right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent, sovereign state on their land in accordance with relevant international laws.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday that “Saudi Arabia warns the international community against Israel’s continued blatant violations that undermine the foundations of international legitimacy, flagrantly infringe on the sovereignty of states, and threaten regional and global peace and security.”
