Saudi Arabia Intercepts Drone in Country’s East Amid Ongoing Attacks

Riyadh, March 22 (QNA) – Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday that a drone was intercepted and destroyed in the Eastern Province.

The ministry’s official spokesperson, Major General Turki Al Maliki, confirmed the incident.

Earlier in the day, the ministry had reported the interception and destruction of five drones in the Eastern Province.

It also detected the launch of three ballistic missiles toward the Riyadh area, noting that one missile was intercepted while the other two landed in uninhabited areas. (QNA)
