Riyadh, March 27 (QNA) – Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense announced Friday the interception and destruction of eight drones over the Riyadh region, according to the ministry’s official spokesperson, Major General Turki Al Malki.
Earlier in the day, the spokesperson had said in separate statements that 12 drones were intercepted and destroyed across the Riyadh and Eastern regions.
The ministry also reported the launch of six ballistic missiles toward Riyadh; two were intercepted, while the remaining four fell into the waters of the Arabian Gulf and uninhabited areas. (QNA)
