Riyadh, July 28 (QNA) – The air defenses had intercepted and eliminated several one-way attack drones over the past hours, the Saudi Defense Ministry said.
The Ministry added that they had attempted to target petroleum facilities in the Eastern Province.
In a statement on Tuesday, official spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Defense Maj. Gen. Turki Al Maliki said these terrorist attempts were launched once again from Iraqi territory and carried out by Iran-affiliated terrorist militias.
He reemphasized that the Kingdom has an enduring right to self-defense and the protection of its assets, and retains the right to respond at the appropriate time and place. (QNA)
