Riyadh, March 12 (QNA) – The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced Thursday the interception of two missiles and the destruction of seven drones.
The official spokesperson for the ministry, Major General Turki Al Malki, said a ballistic missile launched toward the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia was intercepted and destroyed.
He added that another ballistic missile launched toward Prince Sultan Air Base was also intercepted and destroyed.
He further noted that seven drones heading toward the Shaybah Oil Field were intercepted and destroyed in the Rub’ Al Khali desert. (QNA)
