Riyadh, July 15 (QNA) – Saudi Arabia’s main stock market index closed lower on Wednesday, shedding 11.10 points to finish at 10,704.51, as trading activity reached SAR 3.9bn ($1.04bn).
A total of 105 million shares changed hands during the session. Shares in 87 companies advanced, while 170 stocks declined, reflecting broad-based weakness across the market.
The Kingdom’s parallel market, Nomu, outperformed the main index, rising 42.88 points to close at 22,581.79.
Trading on Nomu totaled SAR 8m, with more than 1.4 million shares traded. (QNA)
