Saudi Counterpart Review Developments in Yemen
Riyadh, 31 Dec
2025 (ONA) — Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, met with Prince
Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia (KSA), in Riyadh today. The discussions focused on the latest
developments in Yemen and their repercussions for regional security and stability.
The meeting
addressed ongoing efforts to de-escalate tensions and explored avenues to
bolster the political process. Both ministers emphasized the need for a
comprehensive and enduring resolution that addresses the underlying causes of
the conflict. Such a settlement, they concurred, must safeguard Yemen’s
sovereignty, stability, and security, while also accommodating the aspirations
of the Yemeni people and upholding the vital national security interests of
neighboring states and the wider region.
