Sea Ports Corporation Explores Energy Logistics Investments with Turkish Company

Port Sudan, 7-4-2026 (SUNA) – The Director-General of the Sea Ports Corporation (SPC), Eng. Gailani Mohamed Gailani, met with the Turkish Argaz LPG Dolum Tevzii Insaat A.S, specialized in energy logistics, to explore investment opportunities and strengthen collaboration in the ports sector. The meeting, held on Tuesday in Port Sudan, included Argaz’s Chairman, Mohamed Dabbagh, and discussed strategic projects such as establishing a strategic gas warehouse, developing a floating berth, and ship maintenance projects at Port of Al-Kheir and Port of Suakin, aimed at enhancing port infrastructure and capabilities. Eng. Gailani emphasized the need for follow-up site visits and coordination with the Ministry of Oil to ensure integrated efforts. Argaz presented examples of previous projects and technical expertise, confirming readiness to transfer knowledge to Sudan through effective partnerships. The company expressed interest in joint investments, highlighting the significant potential of Sudanese ports.
