Amman, Dec 10 (Petra)- The Pacific Northwest of the United States has been hit by severe storms, leading to road closures, rising water levels, significant property damage, and several injuries.
According to CNN, heavy rains caused extensive damage in some states, with Oregon and Washington experiencing power outages, flooding, and school and road closures due to landslides and water covering roads and vehicles.
Authorities in Seattle reported that residents were trapped in several areas because of rising water levels. Warnings have been issued for potential isolated flash floods along the coast through midweek.
