SSC to Roll Out Updated Mobile App by End of September

Amman, Aug. 12 (Petra) — The Social Security Corporation (SSC) will
roll out an updated version of its mobile application by the end of
September, as it moves to improve access to digital services and
streamline transactions for beneficiaries.

The corporation said Wednesday that the majority of its services are
already available through its official website, enabling users to
access and complete transactions remotely at any time.

As part of efforts to ensure access for users who face difficulties
with electronic services, the SSC will introduce a new assistance
service at its branches starting Thursday.

Under the service, staff at SSC branches will help visitors who are
unable to use digital channels complete and submit their
transactions.

The corporation also clarified that it currently has no licensed
external offices authorized to process social security transactions
or provide services on its behalf.

It said a framework is being developed to accredit external agents or
service offices at a later stage. Accreditation will be subject to
specific requirements and conditions aimed at ensuring that services
meet the corporation’s quality standards.

The SSC said details of the accreditation system will be announced
once the framework receives formal approval.
