Gaza, Sept. 19 (Petra)– In the last 24 hours, four people, including one child, have died from starvation and malnutrition, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health. This raises the number of malnutrition-related deaths to 435, including 147 children.
The ministry said in a statement that 157 deaths, including 32 children, had been reported since the UN Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) declared famine in Gaza.
