The Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Sudan to the Lebanese Republic, Ahmed Hassan Saad Al-Din, delivered a written congratulatory message from Foreign Minister Ambassador Mohi-Eddin Salem to Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), on the occasion of her assumption of office. The Chargé d’Affaires expressed Sudan’s aspiration to strengthen cooperation with ESCWA, particularly in the areas of governance, poverty reduction, water, and renewable energy.
