Sudatel Telecom Group approved the audited financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025, during its 33rd Ordinary General Assembly meeting held virtually yesterday. The assembly approved cash dividends of 35% of the company’s 2025 net profits after deducting incentives and bonuses, in addition to approving the remuneration of board members for 2025.The General Assembly also elected a new Board of Directors for a four-year term, in the presence of the Auditor General and representatives of regulatory bodies, including the Capital Market Authority, Khartoum Stock Exchange, the General Commercial Registrar, as well as Sudatel’s executive management.Chairman of Sudatel’s Board of Directors, Lieutenant General (Navy) Ibrahim Jaber, welcomed shareholders, regulatory representatives, and attendees, highlighting the major achievements made by the group domestically and internationally through the efforts of senior management. He expressed his appreciation to all employees and the group’s executive management.He said the executive management and employees played a key role in the group’s achievements and outstanding successes, noting that among the most significant accomplishments was Sudatel’s major contribution to protecting and securing the Sudanese economy throughout the war, its pivotal role in digital transformation, and the essential services provided by Sudani to the Sudanese people. He also highlighted the group’s participation in the major Africa Horizon project, which represents a significant addition for Sudan and the region, as well as the achievement of record cash profits of US$117.5 million in 2025, the highest since the group’s establishment.At the conclusion of his remarks, Jaber renewed his appreciation to all employees across Sudan and in Africa and Asia, saying the achievements represent the greatest incentive and evidence of the company’s progress. He called for continued efforts to further advance Sudatel as a national flagship institution.Sudatel Group CEO Eng. Magdy Taha welcomed board members, shareholders, and regulatory representatives, saying that 2025 was an exceptional year as the company recorded its highest-ever profits since establishment.
