Islamabad, August 20 (QNA) – Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan Al Shaibani met with his Pakistani counterpart, Ishaq Dar, during an official visit to Pakistan.
The two ministers exchanged views on regional and international developments, particularly in the Middle East, and reaffirmed their shared commitment to ongoing communication and cooperation to promote peace, stability, and prosperity regionally and globally.
Both sides discussed bilateral relations and agreed to strengthen cooperation across multiple sectors.
The Pakistani Foreign Minister reiterated his country’s support for Syria’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.
Al Shaibani arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday leading a high-level delegation, marking the first visit by a Syrian foreign minister to Pakistan in 19 years. (QNA)
