Damascus, August 02 (QNA) – Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al Shaibani met Sunday with Assistant Minister and Director-General of the Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Keiichi Iwamoto, currently on a visit to Damascus.
The two sides discussed relations between the two countries and unlocking prospects of strengthening bilateral cooperation, as well as issues of reconstruction and investment to help support recovery and development efforts in Syria.
They also underlined the importance of supporting Syria’s unity and stability, in addition to enhancing cooperation for the mutual interests of the two nations. (QNA)
