Amman, Dec. 12 (Petra)– Despite the strong military restrictions imposed by the Israeli occupation forces to limit entry to Jerusalem, worshipers started to arrive early in the morning for Friday prayer at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Israeli forces, including union members, tried to dismantle the iron barricades, the council, and the pillars during the Friday sermon, tightening the noose around Jerusalem’s entrances, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA).
Many young males were prohibited from entering the mosque to worship after they were stopped, inspected, and had their identity cards verified.
