Beirut, March 08 (QNA) – Three people were killed and others injured in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting several towns in southern Lebanon on Sunday.
According to the National News Agency, three people were killed and others wounded after an Israeli strike hit a house in the town of Aaitit.
The agency added that Israeli warplanes also carried out airstrikes on the town of Shaaitiyeh in the Tyre District, resulting in casualties and fatalities. Additional strikes targeted the towns of Rashaf and Sarbin.
Separately, the Israeli occupation army issued a warning to residents of the southern Lebanese villages of Arnoun, Yahmar, Zawtar Al Sharqiya, and Zawtar Al Gharbiya, urging them to evacuate their homes immediately and head north toward Nabatieh.
Areas in southern and eastern Lebanon have witnessed escalating military activity by the Israeli entity amid rising regional tensions. (QNA)
