Aqaba, Sept. 9 (Petra) – The Future of Tourism Conference, titled “The Strategic Vision for Tourism in Jordan,” continued its sessions Tuesday in Aqaba, organized by Petra Sands Training and Development Company.
The two-day conference discussed global tourism trends, identity, sustainability, investment, and challenges in digital tourism marketing.
Head of the preparatory committee, Hussein Amoush, highlighted the importance of promoting Jordan’s archaeological and tourist sites from a global perspective to maximize their benefits to the economy and citizens.
He praised the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority for developing tourism infrastructure and commended the Ministry of Tourism and the Jordan Tourism Board for attracting visitors to the Golden Triangle and other national sites.
