Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council TSC), Lieutenant General (Eng.) Ibrahim Jabir, directed the Higher Committee on International Litigation to closely monitor the implementation of its assigned tasks and ensure the timely execution of its mandates. The directive came as he chaired a meeting of the committee to review international legal cases filed against Sudan, as well as those initiated by Sudan against international entities. During the meeting, the committee reviewed reports submitted by its members and received detailed briefings from the Ministries of Justice and Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, as well as the General Intelligence Service. The meeting also considered the ongoing preparations and the responsibilities assigned to the relevant institutions to safeguard Sudan’s rights, national interests, and the rights of its citizens in any legal proceedings to which Sudan is a party.BH/BH
