Port Sudan, May 18, 2026 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Nuwara Abu Mohamed Tahir, met Sunday with a delegation from the Samarar tribe. Nazir (Chieftain) Mohamed Ahmed Al-Amin Terik stated in a press statement that the meeting was consultative and discussed the opening and operation of the Hedoub Port. He affirmed the Samarar tribe’s support for the port as an economic asset that benefits all residents of eastern Sudan. Terik expressed appreciation for the efforts of the TSC member and her attention to national issues, particularly those of eastern Sudan.BH/BH
