Omdurman, August 9, 2026 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Salah Al-Din Adam Tour visited wounded and injured personnel receiving treatment at the Medical Corps and Alyaa hospitals on Sunday, accompanied by Commander of the Medical Corps Lt. Gen. Dr. Zakaria Ibrahim Mohamed Ahmed. He checked on the health conditions of the wounded, praising the advanced level of medical services and healthcare provided by the hospitals and commending the significant role played by medical personnel in caring for patients and the wounded. TSC Member expressed his pride in the Sudanese Armed Forces, joint forces, and supporting forces for their major role and immense sacrifices in the “Battle of Dignity,” stressing that the war would have no end except with victory. He also paid tribute to the martyrs of the Battle of Dignity who shed their pure blood on this land in heroic battles witnessed across all axes and fronts, expressing hope for the safe return of prisoners and missing persons. For his part, the Commander of the Medical Corps said that visits by military leaders to wounded and injured personnel and medical staff help boost morale and strengthen medical and therapeutic services.
