The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received on Thursday at the Republican Palace the credentials of Dr. Ahmed Jami Omar as Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Sudan, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohi-Eddin Salem. The Somali Ambassador reaffirmed his country’s steadfast support for Sudan’s security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, as well as its backing for the Sudanese people in overcoming current challenges. He also conveyed the greetings of Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and the Sudanese people.BH/BH
