TSC President: No solutions will be imposed on us from outside

Madani, December 3 (SUNA) – The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, has affirmed that any peace negotiations that do not meet the desire of the Sudanese people will not be acceptable, “There are no solutions that will be imposed on us from the outside.”, he said

Addressing officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers of the command of the 1st Infantry Division in Medani, the capital of Al-Jazira State, Al-Burhan sent messages to the political forces that support the rebellion and seeks to achieve personal gains by saying, “There is no access to power over the skulls and body parts of Sudanese people,” stressing the government’s determination to find radical solutions to the Sudanese crisis. He said, “We went to negotiate with an open heart in order to reach a just, comprehensive, and lasting peace, and we say to those who beg in the capitals of the world and claim to bring solutions, that the solution is at home, and they must negotiate with the Sudanese people, who will reject the rebellion and everyone who cooperates with them, referring to the sharp polarization carried out by the rebel Rapid Support militia among the tribes to strike at national unity, stressing that the mobilization of more than 40,000 citizens of Al-Jazira State is the greatest evidence of the national unity. in Sudan.

The Commander-in-Chief affirmed the continuation of the Karama Battle to defeat and cruched the rebel Rapid Support militia with the determination of the armed forces and the support of the Sudanese people, pointing to the determination of the armed forces to cleanse the nation, establish security and achieve peace.

Al-Burhan saluted the martyrs of the armed forces, other regular forces, and members of the Sudanese people, who were martyred in defense of the homeland and honor, and said, “We thank the Sudanese people who stood in support of the armed forces in defeating the rebel forces.”

The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council reiterated Sudan's desire to cooperate with the international community, welcoming the new UN Secretary-General's envoy and saying, "We do not want an envoy who sides with a faction or group, otherwise his fate will be like Volker Peretz. Rather, we want a neutral mission that contributes to the stability, security and unity of Sudan."
