TSC Secretary-General Addresses International CSR Summit in Port Sudan

Port Sudan, Jan. 28, 2026 (SUNA) – Secretary-General of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Lieutenant General Dr. Mohamed Al-Ghali Ali Yousif said Wednesday that holding the International Annual Summit of Leading Institutions in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at this time represents a source of optimism as Sudan advances steadily toward recovery and reconstruction.Addressing the summit’s opening session in Port Sudan, Al-Ghali said the world has witnessed the scale of destruction caused by the aggression of the terrorist Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia against the state and its institutions. He welcomed the selection of Sudan to host the summit and said the state is mobilizing available resources to rehabilitate damaged facilities.He extended an open call to the international community to contribute to reconstruction and development efforts.The summit, held under the slogan “An Exceptional Summit for Rebuilding,” brought together officials and representatives of regional and international institutions to explore leveraging CSR initiatives for community development. It was held under the honorary patronage of Ariab Mining Company Director-General and International CSR Ambassador Nasr Al-Din Al-Hussein.FA/BH
