Gaza, May 25 (QNA) – A Palestinian girl and a woman were martyred, and 17 others wounded on Monday in an Israeli occupation airstrike targeting a camp for displaced persons in southern Gaza.
Medical sources said a six-year-old girl and a woman were martyred and around 17 others injured when an Israeli strike hit Ghaith camp for displaced people west of Khan Younis.
Two Palestinians succumbed to wounds sustained in separate Israeli occupation airstrikes carried out days earlier, one targeting a police station in northwestern Gaza and another in Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis.
According to Palestinian health authorities, the death toll from the Israeli occupation offensive on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,797, with 172,821 others wounded since Oct. 7, 2023.
Israeli occupation forces continue military operations across the Strip, including airstrikes, artillery shelling and gunfire in multiple areas. (QNA)
